Karmic remuneration

DAE implements the learn-to-earn model

At the end of the class, karma is translated into rewards.

Rewards can be in-game assets, like access to premium internships or one-to-one meetings with domain experts, or more liquid assets with potential economic value, like fungible and non-fungible tokens (digital art, digital lands and avatar wearables).

It is important to note that the converting function between karma and rewards is influenced by the group performance, that is by the score of the Learning Return Index for the class. The higher the class performance as a whole, the higher the potential individual rewards. This creates an individual-group virtuous feedback: the single individual contributes with virtuous behaviour to the growth of the class knowledge and the learning performance of the whole group in turn determines the individual rewards.
