Syllabus

What you are going to learn

The course goes through the basics and Web3. Using the DAE model it follows a learn by doing approach. It covers the following topics:

  1. An overview of the DAE model (the learning model of the course) plus the Red Panda course

  2. The basics of blockchain (the technology behinds Web3)

  3. Crypto wallets (the gateway to interact with Web3 apps)

  4. Tokens: fungible, non-fungible (NFT), and soulbound (SBT)

  5. An overview of Otterspace (an SBT badge tool)

  6. Voting methods (linear vs. quadratic voting)

  7. A presentation of Snapshot (a voting platform)

  8. Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAOs)

  9. Smart contracts (programs on blockchains)

  10. An introduction to Manifold (deploy your contract, create, sell or airdrop your NFTs)
